rainy days..

wanted to bring chino for a swim today
at Petgamart located at Paris Ris
but it rained!!
couldn't walk him ydae coz of rain also
now he's sulking away at one corner
mayb i shld buy a poncho or raincoat for him
hmmm

i signed up to be a volunteer ydae
actually i signed chino up la
with Therapy Dogs, Singapore aka TDS
coz i tink chino might make it as a therapy dog
no doubt he tries to dominate other dogs
but he's got a good temperament with humans
especially kids
and i tink dogs can really be comforting
they can sense how humans are feeling
and they somehow can emphathise
and provide a soothing presence
being such a spoilt brat and couch potato at home
i tink it's time for him to do something for the community
he'll have to pass temperament test
in order to be certified as a therapy dog
now waiting for the pple in charge to call me
and then arrange for details =)

rested

slacked the whole day
really WHOLE day
munched some breakfast at 10+
watched tv
ate lunch at 2+
fell asleep while watching tv
woke up about 3+
opened my mails
as in, postal mails
surfed forums, blogs
played silly online games

chatted with nanfeng for a while
realised i forgot my godson's bdae
oops
in fact
i realised i forgot alot pple's bdae too
double oops

chatting with nanfeng
he was telling me he tinks about coffee club sometimes
my sentiments exactly
juz accidentally bumping into galvin dat day
brought back memories too
and of coz, during our infrequent meetups
we talked about coffee club most of the time
it's so strange isn't it
it's not as if we worked togather for like 10, 20 yrs
it was a mere few yrs
but yet
we simply clicked
work there was mundane after we got the hang of it
but occassionally challenging
when we had to work full shifts
or prepare drinks for the entire restaurant
or both
yet, during the time when i was there
i gotta admit
i kinda looked forward to going work
even though the pay was barely enough to get by
i guess it's what i call fate ba =)
really glad that the few of us who are close
continued to stay in touch
and made efforts to turn up
for the occassional meetup

my 1st Live on Board experience

went diving at tioman
on friday the 13th
hurhur
trip was from 13 to 15 July 2007
dive ops is Mark & Charles Scuba
boat is owned by them
live on board
which means to do everything on the boat
boarded RUBY at mersing jetty on friday nite
touched land again on sun evening
didn't puke at all
so proud of myself
lol
but trust me
it was really tough okay
for someone who gets motion sickness sooo easily
guess i was really lucky to pull it off
=)

and balancing myself on the deck
so i gave up la

no more Yahoo photos
coz they say it's closing down
talking about Yahoo
is the entire Yahoo closing down or something?!
they closed my email account lor!!!
on the pretext that i didn't log in for a long time
like more than 3 months
which is so not true lor!!

coz they explicitly said dat ALL my mail is gone
and not retrievable

good to know but can do without kind
