had a pretty relaxing weekend
todae is daddy's bdae
so we went for family dinner last nite
at long beach seafood restaurant at marina
very satisfying =)
i still remember during my bdae dinner
mum was commenting dat
we get to splurge at restaurants
for 8 times a year
mother's day
father's day
and 6 birthdays
to round up the year
we've got one more to go
for my sis-in-law's bdae

our 20th anniversary concert was pretty alrite
the alumni band played 2 pieces
1. the blue and the gray (civil war suite)
2. the saint and the city
though we kinda screwed up a few areas in the 1st piece

past 2 weeks were pretty eventful
spent quite a bit too

i watched 3 movies in a week!!
hehe

with edalene and stanley
it's been quite a while since i watched a movie
dat made me go awwww... to the extend of drawing tears to my eyes
really very nice show
go watch it b4 the run is over

kinda weird combination of pple
but it worked out alrite

the show was pretty nice
about a 37-yr-old divorcee falling in love wif a much younger guy
it showed all the typical pros and cons of such a relationship
and the ending was kinda not-so-rosy
made me feel very 无奈 for them

nice effects
different from the previous ones
coz all the kids have grown up quite a lot

was on a 1-day course at tampines

the trainer is alvin's mum!!
alvin is my fren from SAJC council
few months ago at the college dinner
i found out dat his mum is working in the training dept
wat a small world rite
after the course
i went on a shopping spree at tampines wif soo hoon
bought a top, a skirt and a pair of jeans for myself
and a sling bag for sharon
left me feeling contented but broke
haha

i went roller-blading with justin
2 solid hours
almost died man
muz exercise more from now on
haha
on our way back to return the blades
i met 5 of my SAJC council frens
evelyn, edmund, lining, hong qian, leng hwee
singapore sure is tiny
dats not all
after dat
we were stopped by a bunch on kids
to help them play charades
they were having some church outing thingy
which was orgainsed by my sec sch fren, bee leng
i didn't know abt it until she called my name
as we were leaving after the game
did i mention dat singapore is tiny?

last sunday was grandma's bdae
we went for buffet lunch at Grand Mecure Roxy Hotel
located opposite parkway parade
there were like 31 adults wif alot of kids
we took up almost half the place loh
food wasn't too bad
they had a playroom for the kids
and even hired a balloon sculptor dressed as a clown
and they were having promotion too
4 adults for the price of 3
if u pay the bill with any credit card
there were so many of us it took us a long while to do the head count
guess who i saw while i was there

he's a ngee ann student affairs officer
who's in charge of band
we got acquainted
coz of my commitments in my dept's society and band's committee
my aunt was like, "why never bring him introduce to grandma?"
i was like, "...becoz he's NOT my boyfriend.."
"aiyah, not boyfriend also can introduce mah."
"..."

looking at all my nieces and nephews
i was like oh.my.goodness
time really flies
and i'm getting older by the minute =(

after lunch
i went HMV for a $35.10 haircut which nobody noticed =(
hmmph
look closely pple
there is a difference okay
my hair is much shorter now
and i've got a fringe
the cut was done by zhixiong aka andrew
he's my poly classmate of 3 years
he took up hairdressing wif toni and guy
and graduated some time ago
he's now working at urbanhair by ginrich in HMV level 4
go support him yar?? =)

coz it's her bdae on thur
plus it's ladies' nite wif free flow of house pour on wed
feels damn good to club for free =D
pretty fun ah
loads of eye candy

wif edalene and zhenjin
for eda's eye candy
which by now
she seemed to have lost a certain amount of interest
girl, u progressed too slow lah
muz speed up
hahaha

i actually stayed at home on friday nite
dat was so not me
but i was really too tired lah
been playing the role of aunt aggy for 1 whole week
to different girlfriends
not dat i mind of coz
but sometimes i can't help but ask myself
how is it dat i'm able give sound advice to problems of others
but yet not able to listen to my own voice?
