我二十五岁了!!

realized i haven't blogged about my bdae celebrations yet
heehee
so here goes..
went to work as usual on 27th
after work
neighbour brought me to this super expensive jap restaurant
once, he was waiting for me to knock off
and he caught sight of this restaurant
decided to give it a try coz the ambience looked good
and indeed it is =)
didn’t know it's so expensive
until we sat down and looked at the menu
but decided to stay put since it's my special day
it’s a BBQ place
food served is very very fresh, esp the prawns
staff are extremely attentive and friendly
they took time to explain the different dishes
and wat sauce to go with wat
they sat us at this row of tables wif comfy sofa seats
curtains drawn between every table
they even drew the curtain “door” to give us more privacy
but everytime I looked up
(the curtain is kinda translucent, so they can still see us from outside)
they thought I wanted something
and someone would chiong in and ask “can I help?”
kinda ironic lar
wanna give us privacy yet they keep chionging in
lol
dat dinner cost $138.60!!
dat’s like 70 bucks per person
paying dat kind of $$
i would have high expectations lor
but they lived up to them
so, two thumbs up! =D

on the morning of 28th
me, my sis and neighbour
brought chino for his 1st swim at sentosa tanjong beach
damn cute lor see him swim
wanna upload the video dat i took using my hp
but now i can't find the cable =s
anyways, i was saying
chino damn cute lor
when he first saw the water
he plunged into it...
...and froze
he turned and gave me the confused look
i tink he didn't expect the green-blue patch to be water lor
hahahahaha
with some encouragement
he started paddling wif all fours
now i'm convinced dat dogs are born swimmers
he simply knew how to do it lor
no need to teach de
when turning left
he will stop kicking his left hind leg
and use it to pivot his body
so he kicked his front paws and right hind leg only
when turning right
he'll pivot on his right hind leg
so clever rite
and he seems to enjoy swimming
definitely gonna bring him for more swims
but thing is
the cleaning up after each trip is tiring lar
imagine all the sand on us and in the car
omg
tink gotta look for alternative swimming places liao

went for family dinner at a korean restaurant
called Hyang-to-gol in Amara Hotel
BBQ place (again!)
very nice too
though the ambience not so cosy as the jap restaurant
but they cooked for us lor!
so we juz sit and eat until full full
lol

now to thank all those who made my special day memorable
Agnes, 1st to sms me!! (read: on 27th)

next followed by my hot neighbour
who gave me pretty pink roses!!
plus a bracelet
and sang me bdae song when the clock stuck 12 =D
really really sweet of him to have done so much
after he has paid for my samsung D900 =x

butterfactory is fun lar
dat nite, it was halloween party everywhere
and it was the first time i went to a halloween party
no, i didn't dress up
but it's fun looking at wat others attempt to be
devils, angels, monsters, nurses, doctors etc
sexy ones, kinky ones, weird ones
u name it, u have it
dat nite was really fun
actually, it's not the place
it's the company dat matters

Musical Evening

haven't heard this title for a long while
it's the name of my alma mater's annual band concert
this year, it's gonna be at esplanade!

it's crescent's 50th anniversary this yr
omg
10 yrs flew past lor
i still remember being in sec 3
performing for the 40th anniversary

anyways, since it's an anniversary celebration
the concert will include other CCAs
but i'm glad they used the band concert's name
and even more glad
dat they decided to include an alumni band segment
but thing is
i'm kinda worried lor
the alumni band had its 1st practice in sept
following practices will be on saturdays starting from 4 nov
i didn't go for prac on 4 nov
coz i was performing @ vch for ngee ann alumni band
so ydae was my 1st practice
total attendance was like, 10 pple? =x
learnt dat we're gonna perform 3 pieces
planned to have practices on weekdays
during 20 nov dat week
so total got 4 more practices b4 concert
realised dat bulk of the alumni band
will be made up of current graduating batch
they'll be joining in for practices
only after their last paper on 20th
which leaves them wif 3 practices

all in all, it's 6 practices to master 3 pieces
ngee ann alumni band took 2 months to master 2 pieces lor
oh man, i'm really praying for a miracle
let's hope crescentians will live up to the band's good name

got to know that the musical evening i/c
decided to buy up all the tix from SISTIC
(which i tink is a very bad move)
so i tink can only get tix thru the school's office

thankful..

had a tiff wif my bro last sunday
not sure if it's good or bad
could be good coz for those who know me long enuff
u all know dat the r/ship between me and my bro
ain't dat rosy
so, it's kind good dat we say so many things to each other
in such a short period of time?

haha.. siao rite
tinking dat a quarrel is gd
i'm trying to be optimistic lar

i'm pretty much affected by the whole incident
coz bits of the quarrel are juz plain unreasonable
which i simply cannot comprehend or come to terms wif
was so distracted at work on monday
i actually went crying in the toilet
my boss happened to walk in
and i actually confided in her
had to take leave on tuesday
coz i was so tired and dehydrated from crying
and also coz i did not eat or sleep well
really needed to take some time off
to relax and calm myself down

well, the gd thing abt this whole incident
is dat i learnt quite alot of stuff
from the pple involved
chino was so sweet
he sayang-ed me by licking away my tears
and let me cuddle him for as long as i needed
my neighbour was really great too
this post is actually for him
although i dun tink he reads my blog
juz wanna pen down my gratitude in words
honestly
i dun tink i would have survived the ordeal w/out him
coz my parents were away for holiday
so they were not around to neutralize things
he was around when it all happened
and simply did all the right things at the right time
and said all the right words too
even on the next day after the quarrel
all his little actions and words
really touched me to the core
and i really dunno how to express my gratitude
other than loving him more

really thankful to have him in my life
