finally..

i've got a dog!!
hehehe
thanks to jingo
he bought my family over during his short 2-day stay
i dunno wat he did to my sis
and i dunno wat my sis did to my mum
but my mum finally WILLINGLY gave the green light
hahaha
went doggie-shopping on sunday
with my mum, sis, my best fren and her bf
we went to all the farms at pasir ris and choa chu kang
comtemplated a few breeds
jack russell
shih tzu
maltese
shetland
west highland terrier
but didn't really have the affinity dat i was seeking
until we went to "the puppy shop" at CCK farmart
caught sight of this english cocker spaniel wif a very beautiful coat
and requested to look at it
the moment i carried him
dat was IT
the feel was there
and best part is
he matched all the secondary criteria i was looking for
3-month-old male
vaccinated and dewormed
and he's coat is a very beautiful brown
after much discussion and bargaining
we got him at $750
including supplies
"eagle pack" dry food & 1 can of "divine" wet food
toy, shampoo, cage, fence, leash, food and water dishes
ironic thing is
cocker spaniel wasn't among the breeds dat i was considering
coz i've yet to see a really beautiful one
plus the fact dat pet shops in s'pore seldom have them
i dunno wat happened
but i simply felt THE feeling
so i tink it's a rather gd deal =D
spent the rest of sunday and whole of ydae deciding on his name
went to a webby wif over 2000 names and i shorlisted a few
plus a few suggestions from stanley and nanfeng
i compiled a list...
caramel, casper, chestnut, chino, cinnamon, copper, floppy,
jasper, latte, leo, mudpie, nutmeg, oreo, pepper, pretzel, rex,
russet, rusty, coffee, brownie, cocky, milo
i held a poll with whoever's on my msn
and with my colleagues ydae
the votes tied for these final few
chino, rex, rusty and latte
the final decision laid wif my family
mum chose chino
so chino it shall be
