silent nite

had x'mas dinner wif steve, kendi, erica, andy and my neighbour
at Venezia
it's an Italian restaurant at Singapore Art Museum
hou high class wor

here's wat we ate
nice food wif fancy (and really long names)

seared king scallop with lemon & blackcurrant vinnaigrette
wif king-sized plate as well

lobster bisque flambeed with cognac
very thick and nice!! =D














we had 2 choices for main course
1) pan seared NZ ribeye with duck liver, red wine jus & gratin potato
i don't eat beef but i tried the duck liver
and i didn't like it leh
coz it's all mushy and soft (ewww!)
but i liked the gratin potato
like rosti (my fav!)














or 2) roasted US turkey & honey glazed ham, served with cranberry sauce & brown jus
turkey was tender and nice
but the sauce not enough
so kinda dry

the "pudding" is actually fruit cake leh

after dinner, it took us close to 2 hrs to decide where to go for countdown
and finally we decided!
to go home
wahahahaha
so anti-climax rite
but really couldn't tink of a place to go lor
coz not onz for the idea of squeezing (and getting squashed up) by crowds
so everyone headed home for our 二人世界
hehe

coz we didn't go any noisy places
but i did enjoy myself
